March 5 - March 8 Network Maintenance (NA/OCE - No downtime)

EDIT: After conversations with the team, it looks like March 8 will also include maintenance involving some core systems so we're extending this notice to continue through March 8. Maintenance windows stay the same (6am-12pm PST). Title has also been updated to reflect the additional maintenance day.

Hey everyone!

Heads up on maintenance happening within our datacenters from ~6am-12pm PST on March 5, March, 6, and March 7 that could affect the NA and OCE servers. Since we're doing testing on redundant systems, we're hopeful that gameplay won't be impacted, though we'll be keeping a careful eye on player impact during the maintenance windows. If all goes well, no one will even notice it ever happened \o/

They likely have multiple sections only different levels of staff can see typically. I'm staff elsewhere and we have like 30 hidden sections that the public can't see.

Unrelated. If you're experiencing packet loss and don't believe it's related to your general internet quality, submit a support ticket so we can either help resolve the problem and/or track the issue.

I'm not sure if you're asking if you can afk in a game, but if you are then...no. Please don't do that. Maintenance shouldn't affect your gameplay at all. Also AFKing in games is bad.

This maintenance this morning installed like 5gb of something, which is an insane amount of something to be installing with no patch notes. What exactly happened?

They said that they are updating their audio engine and that we should expect some large chunks of space being required for that, though 5GB seems a little bit too much

^This, but also the patch is separate from the datacenter maintenance we are doing.

Also, just to be clear, it didn't install 5GB. I believe the patch size should be somewhere around 1.5GB for this patch. The number you're seeing is normally bigger than the actual download size as it includes some amount of processing/non-network kinda stuff like applying the patches, but since this patch is much bigger than normal, it kind of ballooned the listed number.

Playing a game and everyone starts lagging. People start disconnecting one after another. Try to reconnect to the game and it says to check m internet connection and try again. Everyone had the same thing. After it doesn't work it has the button to skip stats. Can go and create a new party but clicking find match does nothing. Log on to another account and it works just fine.
