How does someone you reported for going afk and feeding get put on your team right after in the next game. I shouldnt have to wait 5-10 min to search for another game in hopes of not getting put with ppl that like to ruin the game. I thought if you reported someone they couldnt get qued with you or at the very least in the next game. Please tell me how this is fair or logical.

It would make matchmaking much more difficult since you have to check all five players to see if they had reported any of the other five players, for both teams.

In addition to that, it'd be pretty easy to abuse that sort of system. Just report all the players who you think haven't played well enough, and soon you'll be filtering all the players for your stacked team. Giving players this sort of control about who they're matched with might also encourage the negative behavior of being disrespectful towards and reporting players perceived as less skilled.

To add to what people have already said... the player you reported may have just had a bad game. When playing support, I've had my ADC repeatedly say to report me for trolling because I got fed up with their poor choices of when to go in and simply left to support some other lane. (Don't rage at your support when you go all in while the lane is pushed to their turret and your support is warding dragon.) I've also been accused of intentionally feeding when playing a new champion and getting dominated so hard by my lane opponent that they can dive me easily.

Does this mean I always leave my angry ADC or always get dived and feed? No. They're one off events and the next game is likely going to be fine and dandy.

Even watching streamers... I remember one time the streamer was upset because the feeder from their last game was on their team again. In that second game the "feeder" ended up carrying the team.

Did you put him on your ignore list? I've never gotten queued again with people I've put there.

I may be incorrect about this so don't hold me to it, but I believe if you report someone for being unskilled (the "Unskilled Player" option) it reduces the chances of them being matchmade with you. Obviously at higher MMR's this won't have as large of an effect due to the number of potential matches to be paired up with. Just try to give them a second chance, don't start with a toxic mentality towards them, and if they break the Summoner's Code again, just report them again. Really all you can do about the situation I'm afraid.

I just dont think i should get qued in the exact next game. I understand the mmr but im not at a really high mmr im gold 1. I dont think this is a high enough mmr where you will see the same ppl multiple times like d1 or challenger. I just feel like the report system isnt as productive as it could be. Just blows my mind thats all.
