Changes on Rengar?

Hi all. I am a pretty heavy Rengar player, I could consider myself a Rengar main. But then again, I play Zed/Graves/Renekton etc pretty heavily too.

I haven't been checking up on the updates lately and would like a small TL;DR on the new Rengar changes. And are the changes in the PBE? I'd like to try them out if they are.

Thanks. :)

Hi, you can find the ongoing thread here: http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?p=39813745#39813745

Scarizard is in charge of the rework, with help from Wav3break, with Classick's (Rengar's original designer) blessing. Xelnath seems to be a fan of the direction the changes are going. They seem to have been working pretty hard on him with a lot of internal playtesting. (They are not on PBE yet and likely won't be for... probably another 3-4 patches.)

The problem is that Rengar on Live has too much front-loaded damage. They want to spread it out over 4-5 seconds rather than 2. They also want to give him better base stats.

No solid decisions seem to have been made about the Bonetooth Necklace.

Savagery (Q) Does damage just like it always did, but now it generates... something like 3 Ferocity so you can use it more often. They call it the Q-Train. =) It's supposed to be a lot of fun.

Battle Roar (W) no longer grants armor/magic resist. It causes enemies hit by it to have their AD reduced.

Bola (E) is now a skill shot which has increased range and might reveal targets

Thrill of the Hunt (R) had it's movement speed and duration increased significantly, as well as it's cooldown reduced. It also had stealth eliminated. As can be expected, the community was in a pretty big uproar about it to which Scarizard indicated wasn't a guaranteed change and is something that causes Rengar to lose a bit of his theme. Right now it sounds like they are moving his ult into 2 parts: a run really fast mode and a stalk mode, where you lose the movement speed, but gain stealth.

I'm sure I have gotten several details wrong, (Please correct where I am mistaken) but that's where we're at right now, and we've been waiting for Scarizard to post the latest changes for about a week now.
