Hey folks,

I need help regarding Twisted Treeline game play. Can you enlighten me or at least point me to a good strategy guide so that I can learn more re: tactics, champion select, meta, etc.?

First of all, love the quote/joke, otherwise

Bumping serves little to no purpose on this platform
Cloth5.com has nice beginners' guide for 3's (from Yoomla or somthing like that)

Thanks for the tip, I will check it out..and that wasn't an attempt to "bump" ..I was merely wondering if anyone was ever going to respond. When I "bump" things, I literally write the word "Bump" and leave it at that.

For now you can check out the TT forum on the website. In general, here are some tips:

Tanky DPS tends to win the day on TT. Riven, Renekton, Singed, etc. Squishier champions can be good, but really depend on having good peel from teammates.
Altars are important. Most importantly, be careful fighting when the enemy team has both altars. That 10% bonus damage is pretty big.
Your champion's level is also very important. If you're not careful, it's easy to fall behind by getting too excited about ganking. There is a lot of opportunity for ganking, but don't neglect your farm and leveling.
Back to altars: because they are so important, they are a good place to get into fights. Learn when the enemy team can be expected to go for your altars and wait for them there.
