Personally, I feel that jayce has become super poop as of all his nerfs and the whole ult not counting as a spellcast thing, so please consider these changes until he actually is balanced or reworked!

Either improve the Scaling on His "Q" by .1 - .2 or reduce the cooldown on "E" by a very moderate amount to increase the damage output from his e-q combo.

Secondly if not the first idea, maybe give him back ONE of the things that made him good in the past like an almost-as-good version of his E from season two.

I have been a Jayce Top main since I bought him midway through season 3. He is my favorite champ concept, and has a kit that fitted my aggresive play style that I have had since joining league of legends. So, I hope that you at riot games will consider or at least read this and throw all us Jayce players a bone.

Ps: His current win rate on Lolking is 47% and This is all my opinion so whoever reads this please don't freak out on me.

I think Jayce is too much of a melee counter right now. He just pokes his opponent at range and whacks him backwards once he gets jumped upon, very little counterplay about it. On top of this Jayce can speed himself up and jump on+slow down his opponent for a kill.

What I think he needs is a weakness that can be exploited by melee champions. By giving him such a weakness, you can buff his strengths as well. Being squishy is hardly a weakness if you only lane against melees and can smash away anyone jumping on top of you.

How about no. At lvl 3 jayice can win almost every all in fight. Giving him more power at this point is foolish.

Poke comps just have fallen out of the meta. But you could build him as a brusier top with range harass and run him quite fine.

Adjust your play style. Yes he isnt FoTM but he is still able to be played.

Jayce is probably the strongest early-mid game champion and can outdamage most of top laners ONLY IF he didn't have huge ass mana costs and absurd manamune nerfs. He is still ok, although his full combo around 6-8 minutes takes your whole mana away and you are so reliant on successful ganks. If jayce manages to farm under turret, it changes from skill match-up into Jayce wins hard QQ match-up.

But he is still risky pick, even though i like bully champions at top lane, i consider Jayce as a last resort (say i am laning against a Yorick, or Irelia)

all opinions on jayce seem to relate to his previously broken kit It would seem

Jayce is countered by manaless champions. Riven just uses abilities to get close to him and outdamages him every time. Jayce eventually runs out of mana and can't poke Riven out anymore. When Riven gets ahead she just shields and dodges any Q+E combo all with one ability. Aatrox also does well against him because of his sustain. Jayce's ranged attack range isn't that long and his poking combo is very mana hungry, allowing all manaless champions with gap closers and shields/sustain to consistently win against him. Jayce is still a very good pick against everyone else, but right now anyone who picks him against the FoTM's is just trolling for a loss.

I think Xypherous was the guy in charge of the changes, but it seems like it was all forgotten. Too bad, I was looking into it. here's a link to surrender at 20 old red posts collection. http://www.surrenderat20.net/2013/07/xypherous-on-upcoming-jayce-pbe-changes.html

SMALL UPDATE: Xypherous was kicked out of Jayce rework because Riot didn't like his new kit. Sad . Even more so because his new kit had the potential to be tuned rather than be like live where if Jayce is performing well in the meta he's pick/ban until riot nerfs him or manamune, and when he's doing not-so-great he isn't picked even as a long range artillery champion.
