People are not figuring out how to play against Yasuo because they keep banning him

I think that's part of the problem right now. A lot of people have the perception that he's an extremely broken and overpowered champion because everybody else says so and nobody wants to put some effort into analyzing his weaknesses and exploiting them.

Off the top of my head, some champions, such as Kayle, should have a very easy time dealing with him. His win rate isn't absurdly high (it's always hovered in the 50% plus or minus 2 range).
