Caitlyn's splash update - she looks better with brown hair

This illustration shows Caitlyn with dark blue/purple hair, which is the case on her ingame models. I believe that she looks better with brown hair and any new illustrations or models should stick to that.

Why do I think brown hair looks better?

It's more realistic. Sure, people dye their hair, but I and many others have gotten used to seeing Caitlyn with brown hair in her old splash art, and there are way more people out there with brown hair than purple hair.
It "breaks up" some of the colors in Caitlyn's figure and makes her more visually interesting to look at. Caitlyn's figuire, from top down, can be imagined as Hat-Head-Torso-Rifle-Skirt-Boots. Right now, color wise, it's Purple-Purple-Purple-Brown-Purple-Brown - a whole lot of purple. With brown hair, she alternates between purple and brown, creating more color variation and producing (I think) a nicer looking result.

Otherwise I think it's a great illustration and would be a welcome addition to the game. Just my 2 cents.

I like the new splash, the brown hair always bugged me cuz it's not that color in game, Besides it looks cooler then brown,

I think the more pressing matter is that this is an up-skirt shot to all hell I mean mother of god Caitlyn keep your skirt down.

I also personally prefer the new hair colour. Nice recolouring though but I prefer Riot's version! ;)

I really like the blue, but I think in-game brown - or even black - hair would look far much better.

I like the purple, but I also like the brown. I agree that she's a little too oversaturated with purple at present. I think a good compromise could be a single purple streak in her hair. Show that unusual Piltover fashion sense (seems alot of piltover champs have dyed hair), while maintaining a more serious demeanor than Vi or Jinx.

Also I agree with Captain Marvelous, do something to fix the pose, please Riot?

I think they should change caitlyns colours in game cause her hair is pretty bright compared the pivture and everything else of her

I really don't like the new splash, maybe I'm just adverse to change but Caitlyn is my favorite champion and she looked so much better before. I agree that the brown hair was better and personally I think that this new color scheme is just a little too dark. The lighter purple was better. She looks too dark for her personality now. Before, her splash made her seem confident and sarcastic. Now she just looks arrogant and mean. Maybe I'm over reacting but I really hope Riot changes it back...

Well one thing to keep in mind, she's always been meant to be a bit of a Sherlock Holmes/Batman type in many ways. She's first and foremost a master detective. I think the new splash art captures this perfectly. It's a scene I could easily see coming out of a Sherlock Holmes/Hunchback of Notre Dame era story. The slightly darker color scheme fits her well, in my opinion, and yet her outfit still contains that element of whimsy so iconic of Piltover, with the massive top hat, and the dyed hair, etc.
