An idea for flash.
I made a previous discussion about the omnipotence of flash and that a rework of the spell is required before players start to seriously consider using more than a small core of spells (exhaust, barrier, ignite etc.).

What if flash were changed to a short range wall-juke on a low-ish cooldown, or with a condition for reduced cooldown (such as successfully clearing a wall)? Something akin to a Gragas body slam, or a Renekton Slice and Dice. Except instead of being a blink it would be a line dash with a missile speed.
This would create counterplay for champions who use a flash as a mobility spell to guarantee kills or escapes, as the champion would be susceptible to crowd control while dashing. This would be a good jungle spell, creating alternate paths for junglers who normally could not juke walls.
I understand this would be a HUGE nerf to flash, but I believe that it would also create a defined role for flash as well. As it stands now flash is just compulsory, and it relegates all other spells as a secondary utility.
