Should i buy runes for zed or buy another champion?

Im kinda new to the game and after i got zed i have been playing him nonstop but,is a pain ,i cant get enough kills like other people do with any other ranged Champions or "opper" ones. I tried varus last week and i got so many kills easy on my first try. Im close to 6300 IP again and i was trying to save 10455 for the runes but i dont know if is worth it. Is zed bad? Should i buy zed runes?

I would wait till level 30 until you get runes or else you'll need to replace them anyways. Just my thoughts, don't get mad if ya think otherwise :P

I don't generally build a rune page specifically for 1 champion. When you reach Lvl30 I advise building pages that generalize a certain type of champion. Maybe build one for AP top lane and then another for AP mid and one for AD top and another for AD mid. You're limited to 20 rune pages and that is not enough to make a page for every champion you play. I play almost every champion at some point whenever I feel they are good against a specific team comp and there's no way I can build a rune page for every single one. Maybe if you have a couple favorites that you tend to play a lot you can put those in but otherwise I would say generalize your pages.

However, this is just my advice. You don't have to follow it. If you do end up getting Zed runes I would go:
AD or Energy or Energy Regen or CDR quints, Armor Pen marks, Armor seals, and mag resist or scaling mag resist glyphs.
