Ever wanted to get just a little bit better at everything you do in league?

I have a new rule for playing ranked, and since I've been applying it I have gone from 30-34 to 38-35. It is something anyone can do, and I truely believe it will help everyone.

It has to deal with muscle fatigue and neurotransmission. When playing your games, have you ever felt jittery mid way through? That is the result of muscle fatigue caused by constant tension, as well as neural fatigue caused by constant very minor movements of your finngers to use your mouse and key board. Now that we have established an issue, a mild amount of credibility, and we can all agree by reducing this, it would moderately improve your motor function, making all your plays more accurate and game changing. So... How do we affect this issue in a positive way? I spent a long time thinking... And I realized it was on my back the entire time! In front of my eyes the entire time! Especially considering what has being on everyones' minds lately! Light hoodies/jackets. What does every single player at worlds wear? A team jacket... Why? Because it reduces strain on your muscles, and there by nerves by allowing more bloodflow (through being warmer, your veins get dialated, allowing much better circulation). My last 9 games I applied this. I went 8/1. I noticed better reaction times, better cs, and much more accurate skill shots. Before i had a negative w/l at silver V 0 lp... After I'm at a positive w/l, and sitting in Silver IV for the first time, at 24 lp and follow my new rule religiously

I hope this helps everyone, I am dead serious.

Also, it isn't the same strain/fatigue as playing too long. Think of it like working out. Do you want warm or cold muscles before lifting 200lbsx10? Warm ofc, where as working out all day leaves you burnt out. Long term vs short term strain/fatigue

You also very often see pro players with hand-warmers before a match starts. Being warm is good advice indeed!

Exactly what advise are you giving?

I normally put on a hoodie when I don't want to make mistakes, just because I felt more confident when wearing one. I guess what you said makes sense though, if you sit in one spot for awhile you get chilly or something. Getting cold makes your body start to tighten up, so wearing a hoodie would stop that from happening.

I do better when I wear a hoodie, so I can agree with this. I don't wear a hoodie to become a better player though, I wear it because I am either cold or my fingers become cold after playing for a while which affects movements.

I believe this works because you are more focused on the game and not the air touching your arms or the part touching the desk.

This is kinda cool, hah. I always wear a hoodie with the hood over my headphones. Just something superstitious :P

solid advice. ive noticed i play better when im warm myself. thats why i set my computer up near a radiator during the winter and near a window in the summer. if you have ample bloodflow, everything feels smoother.

another example is i play DDR at my local arcade, and playing cold sucks. you cramp and fatigue so much faster than when you are warm. listen to this advice, it'll help more than you think!

Very insightful. I wish all the LoL players I met were so positive and helpful. I'd be spamming that honor button every game. :)

I live in a very warm climate, so it's pretty much Summer for 9 months out of the year over here, so more effort is spent trying to keep cool. Good thing it's getting cooler these days. :D

I can't help it.. this post makes me think of the whole "you make better decisions when you have to pee" psychology. Either way it's interesting and about to be hoodie weather ;)

I've thought about the warming before because my fingers get slow with bad circulation. In conjunction with your theme, I try to tack on anything I can to gain the advantage. Being warm, removing my watch or my livestrong wristband, using gunnar shades, the whole 9 yards. I even turn my fans off in the room to make sure airflow doesn't cause me to blink unnaturally haha. What do you guys use in your quest for gaming advantage?
