Udyr, shall we speak about him?
Udyr's in a precocious place right now. As you at Riot know, he's a flexible character, but currently unviable at higher skill levels. While he can do work, in such an evasive meta, he's generally 'useless'.
His sole use in late game seems to be splitpushing, being able to drag whole teams off lane to stop you. And by proxy, Splitpulling: dragging that team all over the map while your team does what they need to to win.
But this isn't exactly intuitive I suppose to what Riot wants him to do. So, 2 questions:
A: Is the buff to fighters (and hence Udyr) going to be enough to bring him into competitive worth?
B: If not, what about Udyr's "missing' qualities. When one reviews Udyr's suite, he had 4 forms, each with 3-2-2-3 abilities. Will Turtle and bear see these missing abilities filled in?
================================================================
Note for those unfamiliar: Udyr has three types of abilities per form. We can classify these as "First Strike", "On Hit" and "On Activation" bonuses.
"First Strike" = Tiger DoT, Phoenix First Fire Breath
"On hit" = 15% Damage Tiger, LIfe Steal, Second Stun per 6 seconds, Firebreath every third attack.
"On Activation" = AS Boost, Shield, MS boost, "Firewave".
On this, we see Bear and Turtle lack "First Strike" abilities. These alone could be given to give Udyr minor buffs to fill in what he lacks, but potentially not so much he becomes broken.

(Note: I come from the post Tiger Priming era. I don't know what it is, so please explain it if it comes up in this topic).
