Tank Stack Item

Valon Durey, here. Your resident Heimerdinger player. I have the first of what I intend to be series of suggestions for the great minds at Riot Games. This post, the idea is for a new staking item, similar to item 3141 and item 3041 . I will call it Armor of Assimilation (name tentative). It's text would read as follows:

Armor of Assimilation

Gold: 1300

  • 15 Armor
  • 20 Magic Resist

Unique Passive: Grants 3 Armor and 3 Magic resist per stack. Grants 2 stacks for a kill or 1 stack for an assist (Max 20 stacks) A third of the stacks are lost upon death. At 20 stacks, grants 15% max health.

This item is not available on the following maps:

Howling Abyss

Crystal Scar

Twisted Treeline

The Armor of Assimilation would build out of item 1029 and item 1033 . I think it would be interesting to see tanks rewarded for their successful participation in conflicts the same way Marksmen, Fighters, Mages and, Assassins are. Also, it could be cool to see a hybrid build consisting almost entirely of stacking items. Picture it. Armor of Assimilation along side item 3141 , item 3041 , item 3078 , item 3146 and, either item 3006 or item 3020 depending on kit favor and team needs. I would love some feedback on this idea as well as on the post, itself. Maybe there are ways the post could be better. More info? Suggestions? Thought process? You guys tell me what you think and what you wanna see.

I am Valon Durey. This is my idea. "Fascinating, isn't it?" Heimerdinger .

Cheers!

15% Max health is too strong, maybe if it was 15% of Bonus health or 10% of total Health. I think, and the names of strong items is based on characters in the lores or LoL universe I believe, So it could use a better name. At full stacks a Tank would be ridiculously strong, so Lossing 1/3 of the stacks isn't punishing enough for some1 who is supposed to not die. Instead "half their total stacks" is more balanced.

It won't exist for the same reason Leviathan was taken out of the game. The weakness of stack items is dying. Thus a stacking item that prevents dying is overpowered.

An item like this beats the purpose of it being a stacking item, because stacking items are supposed to be risky. When you die, you're supposed to lose stacks and be weaker, but an item like this would make a person much more difficult to kill, thus making it harder to lose stacks.

But I item 2044 item 2043 what you're going for.

I just looked a little deeper on the League Wiki, after a tip from a friend and, I've found a similar removed item called Leviathan. After some consideration, I can see how a tank stack item would be counter-intuitive to the idea of stack items, as it would make them increasingly easy to maintain. But, how about this? Like gold income items, what if Armor of Assimilation was restricted from being built along with other stack items? That way, you could ONLY build it alone. Also, with this in mind, I do see reason for lowering the numbers to 2 AR and MR per stack and 10% max (or, even just bonus) health. What do you think?
