@Statikk Position on supports

I know that you are doing a Q&A but I fear that you won't be able to see my question in that long list of posts. So here is the question I posted on the Q&A:

What is your position on season 4 traditional supports? Ever since this season started many of them have seen nothing but nerfs. I thought this was suppose to be the season where supports could actually participate. So far, this has only applied to tank supports (excluding Alister and Taric) and even got mages capable of supporting as well. Was this intended to happen or did you not anticipate this?

Further more, because the traditional supports cannot compete with the current Meta they ended up going to different lanes and have suffered for it. It seems the balancing department is very inconstant when it come to balancing certain champions. For example, Soraka was practically destroyed after she went into mid lane with the 4.8 patch. But Lulu, which people have said is causing the same problem, has seen very little nerfing. I like to thank you guys for being careful about Lulu and trying to find a way to nerf her without destroying her supporting capabilities instead of gutting her flat out. But my question is this: Why is it you give some champions special treatment, while you flat out gut others without a second thought?

I prefer not to talk about Lee Sin, he is a whole different can of worms. A bigger one too.

No idea if that was because people didn't want to talk about that, or I hit some sort of hot button issue that no one liked. Either way, I'm posting this in hopes of getting an answer.]
