This is what drives me up a wall about Riot's lore. It's just teasers, there are no real hints or conclusions.

There is just a point when you just roll your eyes and know you will be disappointed so there is no point in even trying.

I'm tried of trying to put story-lines together when there is no real data.

In my head Bard is just a basic Japanese spirit. Hence the mask and no voice. No lore, no nothing. Just a spirit.

Welcome to the life of a Lore fan... In a game where the lore is near non-existent.

WE STILL DON'T KNOW HOW GNAR GOT OUT OF THAT FUCKING TRUE ICE! We don't know how Bard even got to Runeterra. Are the artifacts his? Why does he even care? And, more importantly... are there more like him? Same with Atrox's race. Darkin. K. 5 currently exist, we seemingly know of two others. Aaaaand... nothing else. Bard's clearly not a Darkin, as Darkin are malevolent beings. Kayle and Morgana aren't Darkin, as one's benevolent. And as they're related by blood, if one's not a Darkin, the other isn't either. Is Shaco a Darkin? Most likely? Is Jax? Doubt it, as he doesn't have a malevolent nature. What's going on in the Shadow isles? When was it right next to Blue Flame Island? There's a land mass between the two isles. As the seas are named two different things. Also, during the Harrowing, Ionia would be hurting more than Blue Flame Island if they were in the same sea.

Then you have Kalista's lore. Her lore's more about the person wanting revenge than Kalista herself. What was Kalista before she was turned undead? Was she from a different nation than whatever Shadow Isles was before it was all grim and gloomy? At least we were given decent lore for Azir and Xerath (That were posted on the boards instead of their lore tabs... for... some fucking reason...). Sion v2's lore was glorious, though.

Who cares? I don't play this game for lore. All of the people who want more lore are always so overly dramatic... they make it sound like Riot doesn't care about anyone or anything and the game is going to heck in a hamster ball just because we aren't getting long descriptive backstory for each new character.
