I don't like this hidden mmr mechanic. My ranked 3's team (just recently made silver 5) was matched against a gold 5 team, with team members in hi gold. Could definitely feel they were above out skill level. Its not fun to be completely wiped out with and have the enemy team essential teabag us. If this community wasn't so overwhelmingly toxic then I wouldn't be so frustrated. But since it is, being matched with someone 5 tiers above you is not really fair on enjoyable. I can understand facing a gold team if we were silver 1 or 2 but not a recently silver 5 climbed to from bronze.

Umm, if they are gold 5 and they are being matched up against silver 5s, they are about to drop in ranking.

I feel you, but 3's have a pretty small pool of teams (compared to other modes).

Last year my Gold IV 3's team was matched with a team in their Challenger promos. A couple of weeks later they were the number 1 Challenger 3's team and they stayed there for almost two months >.>
