Really.....

I created this post the other day (see below). Only to have to removed by Riot for being in the wrong category. I'm sorry that I believe matchmaking is a game play/balance issue......

I feel like matchmaking could use some tweaks. First I think we should make MMR or whatever visible. It feels like the "leagues" you are placed in mean nothing. For example, my ranked 3's team is silver 2, however we often get pinned against gold teams made of solo plat players. My team rangers from bronze with the highest being a gold 4 solo player. We almost always loose those games. On the flip side we get placed often again silver 4 and 5 made of bronze and silver solo players. These game are often wins. Maybe this is just a treeline thing, because the pool for q is smaller, but It almost never seems like we actually get a "good game."

90% of the time one of two things happen.

We get spanked, and I mean humiliating, toxic unsportsmanlike taunting bullied degrading defeat.

We do the spanking.

Option 3 rarely happens. We are evenly matched and the game could go either way up to the end.

I understand sometimes the champ picks are like rock paper scissors, things are always changing and I have too much of a life to constantly be up to date with the fotm/op/meta etc... But I remember two years ago when I started playing league this was never a problem. I remember the professed "elo hell" days, but I never liked solo q anyways (why play a TEAM game and focus on you SOLO stats???) but that's for a different time.

I find teams to be harder and more challenging ( you also don't have to deal with toxic teamates/afkers and the such.) But I also find that there are way more inappropriate match ups in the team q's.

I would ask at the very LEAST, to have appropriate match ups in promo series. For example, I do not think anyone should ever be matched against a team that is seeding during a promo. By definition that team is still searching for their placement. Also you are looking to get promoted, saying that you have the skills to join the next tier, not skip the next 5 tears.

Anyways, just felt like saying something. I really never expect any worth while discussion from coming to the forums but one can dream.
