@Riot: Forced Smartcast and Range Indicators

So, is there any particular reason why forced smartcast doesn't respect the range indicators option?

I am unable to play any champion with forced smartcast to any respectable degree because I'm so used to range indicators. If you're going to force us to use smartcast, at least let us use our preferred method of smartcasting.

Uh... so how and when do the ranged indicators display, and how would it make a difference for smart casting? You press the button and the skill fires. Why would I want the indicator to come up if I've already cast my spell?

If you're this commonly casting from out of range, then you just need to learn the champion.
