Help With Evelynn?

So I'm a jungle main and I've only played Eve like 3 times, and I just can't get into her playstyle. I like duelist junglers like Lee, Aatrox, Wukong, and Xin. She's the only one of the four Power Junglers (Lee, Kha, Elise, Evelynn) that I'm not at all comfortable on. What are some general tips/tricks I can try so I don't completely embarass myself in solo queue?

PS I've been working on two articles so I hope my Forum Rescue Squad buddies haven't completely forgotten about me~

Are you trying to go for damage with her or are you focusing on being more engage/off-tank for your team? I can't help you out that much because I personally don't really enjoy playing as Eve, so I just have standard information and advice. I guess I'll just put down a few standards, sorry if they are obvious or you already knew them.

You're Eve. Normal words can only see you when you are unstealthed, which means they will most likely have to spend extra on pinks. Double check brushes that are standard pink ward locations and remove any you find. You don't have to gank as Eve to have a mental effect, constantly making them burn gold on pink wards can destroy their mental confidence and end up giving you an edge come mid game.
Learn how to line up your skills when clearing camps in order to maximize the casting. You can clear pretty well without doing that, but setting it up so that your Hate Spikes hit all of the camp instead of just one can speed you up greatly and give you an advantage over slower clear junglers or less mechanically adept players.
You're invisible, use that to your advantage to get some deep wards down, get some good vision, or gain stronger positioning for ganks or counter-ganks.
Learn and know your damages at skill ranks and item points. Build for what you and your team need. Don't cookie cutter. Make sure not to waste gold on consumables that you don't use, if you buy them, put them to use.
Watch some junglers stream. I know that is sort of a bullshit tip but you'd be surprised what you can learn from just observing and taking a few notes on things to practice.

So I'm going to preface this by saying that I'm probably pretty unqualified to answer this question, I'm not a jungle main, nor am I high elo, nor do I really play Eve. That in mind, I do watch a lot of jungler streams, and from what I can tell, Eve isn't really a dualist like Lee Sin, she's pretty squishy when she's in her jungle, especially early clears can get her very low on health. I think most people play Eve for her ganking, rather than her ability to fight the other jungler. I don't think you go looking for fair fights with Eve, usually the ones where you can surprise your opponents or have a number advantage (usually both because permastealth).
