Dear Riot,

Please change your matchmaking formula. Regardless of Elo/MMR, Silver V players should never be matched with Bronze of any tier. Same goes with Gold players matched with Silver. Also, you should make it so that every time you go up a tier, you change groups. This allows for diversity in champion pools and gameplay. I mean, it's really unfortunate that you can be matchmade with a troll, then matchmade again with them the very next game. That just shouldnt happen.

"Dear riot" is useles post title. You're getting -1 for this from me already. Also, I think it should be expected that players with different skills meet.

And there's another point - the more strict the matchmathing formula is, the longer you wait.

As of trolls - well, the system doesn't know who is troll and who is not. And again, preventing same people playing consequent games together would require time and resources.
I'm actually happy for the fact that I often get playing against my former team-mate or that my recent enemy appears in my new team. It's fun :)

Elo isn't meant to completely separate players. Its meant to give players more balanced games on average, and to say player x is more skilled then player y. From a matchmaking perspective, it tries to balance elo as closely as possible (all silvers etc) but starts matching outside to avoid long que times. If you eliminate the medal jump, you make que times grow. And then theres the Silv 5 guy playing at Bronze 1 level or the Bronze 1 playing at silver level, etc etc.

If you are matched with a troll and get match with him again the next game, you should already know to dodge.
