I, along with the large majority of players, am enjoying the new patches overall. Sure I have my nicks and picks over certain things, but that's my own personal opinion to which everyone is entitled. You shouldn't try to speak for the entire league community, much less with the unpopular opinion. Riot is not, however, obligated to reverse changes over a minority that is convinced they are the majority.
Bjergson was fined for breaching his contract. That's not "devising strategy" in any positive form of the idea.
They are not "commanding" anyone as no one is being forced to play this Free-to-Play game. They are making adjustments and balance fixes not only where they see fit, but where the majority of players are in agreement of needed changes (ex. Riven's early game, Yorick's overall design which is marked for rework, Grag's ult late game, etc).
If you're going to use the word totalitarian, use it correctly. This isn't a dictatorship. This is a company offering a product free of charge while constantly looking for ways to improve it for the consumers with the help of the consumers.
Finally, you're stifling your own creativity. No one is forcing you play champions in their intended role. Riot isn't holding a gun to your head telling you not to play Sona mid. You are free to explore the possibilities however you see fit, so don't blame Riot because your team came to a mutual agreement that your idea was bad.
