Jax and his stats

So out of curiosity I decided to hit the champions page online to see what Jax base stats are like compared to other fighters and I found something quite surprising. Most of Jax's base stats are quite a bit higher than other fighters, more health, more armor, more attack damage. I figured if his early base are high they probably scale poorly per lvl... or not. In fact Jax gets more health per lvl, attack speed per level, even attack damage per level than many of his fellow fighters.

Why is it Jax gets so many more stats compared to other fighters?

Its quite simple really. Just look into his lore. He was designed to be the most dominant force in LoL. They literally stop him from using a real weapon.

Maybe it has to do with the low impact of his ult? Sure the 3rd hit thing does damage and the active gives him defense, but it is not a big power spike. Even with those base stats being high, Jax is majorly item dependent.
