Snowballing adc build...

So basically a couple days ago I went thinking and realized that essence reaver has an insane low build price(2650) for a main adc item compared to bt (3500) ie (3800) ect. So realizing a vulnurability in this, I tried a couple games rushing essence reaver and then b.f sword (to build into IE). you snowball so hard

PROS-- -Snowball harder than anyone else -Really early lifesteal and some nice cdr -around 110 extra ad at only 20 mins, compared to an ie/bt rush of 80 ad -after bf sword buy, rushing IE makes you unstoppable mid to late game.

CONS-- -THE RISK IS REAL -if you get shut down while building toward essence reaver, you are behind a lot. -situational buy(if you're a late game monster (twitch/vayne), do not go for this build)

Basically this build path lets an ad carry that's ahead snowball even harder. tell me what you guys think.

What is the substantial advantage that upgrading to your reaver gives over grabbing that BF sword and infinity edge 1k earlier? I wouldn't do this on just any champion, only those that like to spam abilities.

On most AD carries, item 3153 ist the best item ot snowball with if you rely on autos a lot or make good use of AS and the proc (Lucian Twitch Vayne Quinn KogMaw Tristana ), especially if you have forced them back/killed them and do not have enough for a item 1038 when backing (and chances are, if you don't have access to a BF, the enemy you just killed won't have it, either). Plus, you can make use of your completed item while they still build up their power, as Blade's significantly cheaper.

Problem with item 3031 rush is that you're kind-of falling into a power gap once completing it, as the crit-focused build gets only really useful with a side of AS and more Crit (item 3086 ). This is usually not that big of a deal for high-skill players, as they farm enough to get their builds with alacrity, but for anyone below that skill level... A good start for Ashe Caitlyn Jinx Tristana .

item 3072 rush might get better on the upcoming patch, though, with the return of the 20% Lifesteal. Trading in more damage for sustain and safety.

item 3508 The new build path might also give this thing a merit, as it will be a decent trade-off for mana hungry ADCs, with mana sustain and a decent helping of CdR. Graves Lucian Sivir MissFortune Corki come to mind here.

And interesting start I remember seeing on Reddit before, for the raw-AD-focused carries, was item 1038 item 1038 item 3035 . If you want raw AD, numbers suggest that this is the most gold-efficient way, and it allows you to branch out into all kinds of builds from there. Might be something for Graves Varus Draven MissFortune .

item 3508 has been very expensive. Currently it's on PBE but coming soon.

 New Recipe: Vampiric Scepter + B. F. Sword + 1050g = 3400g
    Total cost increased from 2650g.
Attack damage increased to 80 from 60.

Doing the math in excel, including crit chance as a dmg multiplier, ie is stupidly more of a dps increase than any other item. Not to mention, dmg wise, BotRK only needs 300 enemy health to be more effective than BT (while BT was still at 15%.) Although, essence reaver may be good if you are ahead, so is literally any other item you can complete. I think some champs like draven could use it effectively, allowing for a constant w without losing all your mana, but it's still going to lose you dps on most champs.
