Wrong Forum pls Delete

Since the drop of the new patch, league's client has been using absurd amoubts of data.

Whereas before the client might use up 50mb worth in a day, I'm seeing upwards of 200mb of data usage per minute.

My guess is that I'm seeing this because of the Esports promotions on the main page. Is there any way to disable these promotions?

I simply will not be able to play league this patch otherwise, as I would easily blow through all 12 gb of my data in a single day.
