Why did Riot change Akali's face soo much?

? Changing akali to become a generic asian wasnt really needed.

Look at blood moon akali. Her old splash looks much better. Her face looked nicer than the new one as well(and still Asian).

So like, I am really not liking these splash arts :/ many of them are just downgrades.
