For those of you who came later, Feral Flare was a jungling item which gave flat heal and on-hit magic damage, stacking indefinitely through farming jungle camps. Hurricane gave no crit but also had 70% AS. Hurricane meant that you could heal 3x as much with Flare, and those two items combined were enough to almost reach 2.5 AS thanks to Minigun.

Infinitely scaling on-hit component allowed you to build tanky and still deal more than respectable mixed damage, and with that once you get rolling you could drain tank harder than old Aatrox; healing 800+ HP each second in combat was a common occurrence.

I was partial to on-hit Kogmaw / AP poppy / 3xold tiamat, 2xPD, 1 IE twitch. I cant use item icons because 1/2 of them are no longer in the game. I'll never forget THIS STUPID YI STOLE MY 1v5 TWITCH PENTA AT BARON >: (. That build was srsly busted though :3.

Oh another thing I used to do was take sivir mid and build 6 philo stones. Nobody could push me out of lane because I had too much regen / wave clear. Almost had a full build around 25ish mins in the game lol.
