Things are finally looking up for me these days

Incoming dear diary post. You've been warned.

So after a rough week last week at the ol' chicken factory, I had a couple shifts at my new second job and it went really well. I'm learning lots of stuff and will be learning lots more in the coming weeks. I'm a little nervous at the aspect of leaving a job I've worked for almost 7 years..but this change needed to happen and is long overdue.

I even went on a date yesterday, too! And this girl is a lot like me! She's a gamer, kind of a goof like me, and we just really get along and I can feel there's this click there. I mean, I haven't got my hopes up just yet, but we'll see where it goes.

It's just a breath of fresh air to finally have shit going my way for a bit. This year started off pretty good, but quickly took a nosedive, but now seems to be on a more stable rise again.

For the first time in a long time I can say I'm actually feeling optimistic about stuff. For now anyway.
