League of damage - a constructive criticism

Is league really going to keep this meta going or are did they dig themselves a hole that can't get out? Cause this meta really is terrible for the average solo q player in ranked like myself. Almost every game now I have to worry about 1 or 2 champions that snowballs their lane(s) and once lane phase is over they'll quickly burst me down in just a few shots within 15 minutes into the game give or take.

This game should be going back to having more sustained fights making team fights more fun and you know more "team" orientated and would make 1v1's harder to get a laner fed and snowball. Instead now there's champions that can just absolutely gut wrench a whole team if they snowball early enough and have a decent team comp that gives peel. I hate playing games that make me and my entire team absolutely useless to shuting down the team's carry if they get snowballed and I feel that more often than anything else in these past patches this year.

let me know if i'm just delusional in my own little chaotic world in league of damage - or not. If anyone's gonna comment try and be respectful and try to keep it as constructive criticism, thanks.

My personal thoughts on this issue are that there are now so many champions in the game, that it is basically a requirement to either A) have a counterpick ready for every snowbally champion (usually someone with a bunch of hard CC does the trick) or B) one-trick something that snowballs and hard carry.

I honestly don't mind the current meta, but I am a Katarina OTP so you may want to take my opinion with a drop of salty tears from the eyes of an ADC who just wants to walk out of base. :P

since I've been playing it's pretty much always been this way. one reason I despise SR and luved Dominion & then Nexis Blitz. you could actually make comebacks. neither match type is over until it's over....SR? first or best fed = over and done

I agree with you though that it should be more balanced. makes for more fun using actually strategy then the strategy of who is fed first and knowing it's over but you still have 5 or 10 or 15 minutes of time to wait for it when the team isn't going to agree to end it. also basically makes a player not even want to try at that point since a comeback is virtually impossible as it is now. sure you get the rare matches where team are even but those are not comebacks when one side finally gets a strike or strikes back.

I don’t know honestly, take away season 1, 5, 6, and the rest is similar if not worse(S3). I also think that comebacks are much easier. Every minute of game matters, every mistake, mispositioning etc., unlike in times when laning phase lasted for 30 mins and it didn’t really matter what happened, 2 tfs afterwards and gg. I’m personaly enjoying the game, eventhough ranged toplaners are still a thing.
