You picking squishy top laner sentence us to lose

It happens almost 60% of the games. My top laner decide he is so skilled he will play a squishy top laner, denying any kind of team fight later on. This by itself is more often than not enough to lose you the game ( They have a tank/juggernaut, you don't, and you can't team fight whatsoever ).

*( I know picking some sidelane squishy split pusher is a strategy aswell, but i guarantee you that in my elo, the game is decided by team fights )

But in the 100% of the cases where the top lane is a squishy ITS ASSURED that they will spam ping help top lane and flame you if you don't gank them, cause they can't play safe.

This lead to you being forced to gank toplane, this while the enemy jungler will gladly destroy your bot lane and gain advantage.

I hate this, you picked top lane, you should be self-sufficient, i can't camp the top just 'cause you thought you were so good on that gangplank/teemo/fiora while their jungler destroy my bot lane and the game itself.

tldlr : you pick Teemo top? Don't expect any damn gank

"My team picked a terrible team comp and now it's my turn to pick. Should I forgo my pride and choose a champ that'd benefit us? No. It's my team thats wrong and I'll choose what I first wanted and blame them for my loss."

Low elo people do not play properly around tanks. you are just as likely to win in low elo with a balls to the wall damage comp as you are with a tank.

Or maybe you could play a tank in another role? Jungle? Support? Even mid can play a less squishy champion.

You don’t get to boss your team around just because you want to. You aren’t the team captain. Top lane does not have to be any more self sufficient than any other lane.

Your type of attitude is the reason for toxicity in League and in fact you are one of the most toxic type of players there is - who refuse to do anything except boss boss boss.

You pick a squishy carry, then blame team if you don't get their constant help and we aren't able to teamfight later in the game?

Hmmm... This is how toplaners feel every time they see lux support or some other unreliable skillshot-based squishy damage dealing support that needs items to do meaningful damage and offers almost nothing else (i.e. squishy supports other than something like brand). This is how toplaners feel seeing kindred jg or graves jg picked into an enemy comp with multiple burst champs and massive chain cc potential.... like either the graves or kindred better spam gank hella hard early and put their laners massively ahead or else all their damage will be meaningless because they won't be able to get close enough to do any damage without getting cc'd and insta-nuked.

But of course, somehow it's always toplane's job to be the frontline and tank for team. Jungle can pick whatever they want, support can pick whatever they want. Toplane can be set to carry through splitpush - even if they have to 1v2 to do so - but they're a bad teammate if they don't group and tp whenever team whines and tells them to do something. You can have double waveclear and good peel/disengage vs a team that's mediocre at tower diving, but can your teammates just hold a tower 4v4 using their safe waveclear? Not unless you babysit them apparently.

Midlaners think they're allowed to splitpush cuz they can 1v1, but they don't know when to back off to avoid dying 1v2 or 1v3 and they don't have tp or global to join their team. Also, they probably can't duel every single potential opponent they might run into. Just group, let your toplaner split and carry. They know how to avoid ganks better than anyone else if they're good. They can out-duel all opponents more likely than your assassin mid. They can join the rest of the team if it is TRULY necessary via a tp or a global. You play smart and they'll know what to do.

I always hear adc's go "if you guys just peel...". The game isn't always about adc. The adc doesn't always have to be the main carry with 4 meatshield cc-bots guarding them. You can see what your team wants to play in champ select and pick accordingly. Early/mid game especially a strong assassin or bruiser/fighter can often easily do more work in teamfights and in general than an adc. If you have one frontline champ for your team... it actually matters more that THEY have a great game and get the farm they need than that you do. Nobody gonna peel anything if your one frontline champ gets screwed by his team feeding and then squishy carries taking all the cs and xp so that he can't buy items to deal with both the fed enemy mage and the two fed physical damage champs in jg and adc that they enemy has to focus him down.

Junglers - they have the biggest love/hate relationship with toplaners with inept players in both roles. Toplaners who have lane priority and don't back up junglers on invades or when being invaded. Junglers who invade or get invaded on and expect help when their toplaner is a level down and a skill down trying to hit level 3 by catching a giant wave under their tower. Junglers who think it's more important to do one more camp before coming top even though that camp doesn't get them another level or anything useful - the camp is static - it will be there after you gank if you gank first. The opportunity to kill a flashless enemy toplaner when he's overextended will not. Lanes are dynamic. Minion waves push. Enemy junglers or laners can show up. You take the opportunities when they arise, but you also don't mindlessly jump in just because you're there. I can't begin to count how many times I see junglers force a bad gank when waiting a whole 8 seconds would all but assure its success. Know which lanes have kill pressure and priority at different points in the game too. Like a sejuani camping for a veigar lane before 6 is literally pointless when you have say a leona and draven bot or a renekton top. Your side lanes in that match have way better chance of getting the kill before level 6, so gank for them instead of camping mid. Also learn priorities. If you have the choice to kill a laner or the enemy jg, it's generally better to go for the laner. Kill the laner, their jg probably comes to you... gifting you another 2v1 kill. Or at worst, you get to 2v1 invade the enemy jg after killing the laner or forcing him to base. If you do the reverse, the same cannot be said.

Supports - think. I don't care if you're autofilled or not. You can think and you can play smart. You get warned the enemy mid/top/jg is missing and might be bot? Do not play agro... even if an enemy botlaner is 2 autos away from dead. Chances are that if you go for the kill you end up trading kills and dying yourself at best. If the enemy support is roaming and or camping say midlane... get off your butt. The enemy adc should be denied all farm and xp while they're 1v2 or as close to this as possible. If you can't do this, then counter-roam and help your midlaner. Can't count how many games I've seen a melee mid get screwed despite massively outplaying their opponent in lane because the enemy support and jg just camp them and deny them cs and force them to miss waves by chunking them out while our bot lane and jg do nothing to help mid nor punish the enemy for camping mid. Think ahead. What objectives are coming up soon. Where does your team need vision? Where is the enemy team? Where can you deny vision? Did a bunch of enemies just base? Ok, then if you are behind NOW is the time to go ward neutral objectives like baron. Don't sit last hitting minions and wait for the enemy to buy and walk back to lanes before going to ward. Do it while it's safe and bring a friend if need/can.

There's a lot of simple stuff everyone can do and think about before acting that makes it simpler and more likely for their team to win besides - git gud. Nobody is free of making any errors. The biggest problem is that most people only think about THEMSELVES. I'm a midlaner and see my toplaner telling me to stay with team and let him solo push? He's clearly just selfish trying to hog all the cs and xp for himself. I don't think about... he's got the best chance to 1v1 anyone the enemy sends to split, the best chance to escape or outplay and win any 1v2, and the only one with the ability to join if the enemy team forces baron or pushes to siege our inhib tower in another lane. Moreover, the other team might be too ahead to 5v5 them or they might just have a better teamfight comp, so splitting them up and then looking for stuff like tp flanks is the best option. There's reasons for doing stuff beyond the pure selfish. Doing what is best for the TEAM is what matters. Sometimes what is best for the team doesn't look like it though because one or more players refuse to do the correct thing and someone ELSE ends up looking really stupid because of it.
