They are 100% going to be homeschooled
I'll need to find a way to integrate them in with other kids over the years by exposing them to others as often as possible, which shouldn't be too difficult, but there is no way in hell I'm letting them go through public schooling curriculum.
Maybe I'll have them be a foreign exchange student every so often as well, that'd be fun. I'm not wasting my child's life.
I mean, if my art flys off to the point where I can be a stay at home mom, I definitely would. I felt I didn't learn enough to survive college in my public school. I didn't even learn how to write a resume or even write a proper report. Everything was about learning how to take a multiple choice test. It never helped me outside of grade school. I genuinely feel robbed. Props to internet age so I can self teach myself things.
I was homeschooled.
It was good enough. No complaints to make.
You just have to make sure the kid actually does the work. I was always pretty self motivated, so it wasn't much of a problem, but there are a few homeschoolers out there where homeschool pretty much means "doesn't do any school."
There are things you can go to specifically for home-schooled children and parents.
That said, no school system should be bad enough that you actually feel the need to home-school your children. Maybe you should just move to Canada instead.
Or actually better yet, why not let them decide on what they want to do?

Sounds good, just don't let the kid fall behind socially. School is where they learn their social skills.
Home schooling is really effective if done right because of the one-on-one. You should still teach important subjects like history, etc. though. Those who don't know the past are bound to repeat it.
They'd miss out on the amazing funny days in school.
The advantage of a public schooling system is that it's a great way to ease children into being on their own with their peers. It teaches them responsibility, how to socialize properly, and how to toughen up sometimes.
Middle school was a miserable experience for me, but I wouldn't change those years in the slightest. It helped make me who I am today.

The public system has completely and utterly failed me. If I were to have children I wouldn't commit the same mistake my parents did with me.
That's your right as a parent.
It's a possibility I would entertain, if either or I or my significant other was qualified. I would greatly prefer my kids be in a private school, or even a military school, over a public school any day. I found academic success despite my public school education, not because of it, and my teachers did the best they could with what they had. I can't fault them.
As that old saying goes. If you want something done right you have to do it yourself.
Assuming you have the knowledge to teach your kid enough to make him a well rounded person for college or tech school, sure.
1: Honestly, as bad as public schooling is.. The worst part is either the food, or the teachers that are just like "I get paid for less, I'll just let them fuck around for the entire period. They know the subject"
2: To be honest, You could probably just teach them online, GED Gives a good program (One that i've been taught on after several incidents in my school occured) And all-in-all the end tests are just about things everyone should know when they graduate
