Question on ranked rewards

I know the ranked season just ended and I'm wondering what happens to my rank. I peaked at D4~23 lp and am wondering where that ranks goes. If i continue to play ranked during the pre season, what will happen to my rank? Where is my rank for this season recorded now that it's over? There's nothing helpful about it in patch notes or in the client or really anywhere I can find. Any help appreciated, thanks!
