Looks nice, the combos are interesting, and the fluid gameplay... Anyone else planning on picking this up?

It seems more like a Darksiders game as opposed to being a God of War tho. But I guess while the story is a continuation from the original, it's still a soft reboot of sort. (and it doesn't seem like there are infinite number of chests where you open for random orbs, what a let down. I played GoW for those sweet, sweet orbs, you know /s)
Speaking of Darksiders, I am not too sure about the current progress of Darksiders 3. Fury's animation from all the gameplay video so far seems too stiff and the game seem still be in very early stages of development and really lack polish. But hey, I'll wait until the final product.
I'll be 100% honest. I hate that they made Kratos the protagonist. I hate that this game is riding on the dick of the previous games instead of being its own series (which it's going to be because they're gonna milk it). I hate that they named it God of War.
I want to know who the kid really is, I also want to see if they have the balls to kill/remove Kratos and make you play as him.
