Why can't I bring myself to uninstall league? Anyone else feel the same? Anyone done it?

I played ranked and I play jungle, I can handle the jg diff at every loss I take when teammates need someone to blame I'm 100% used to it now but I always come back after a break. Has anyone uninstalled league for good? Should I? I don't wanna uninstall because some people can't blame themselves for their own mistakes.

If you can't boil down your interaction with a video game to :

A ) If you enjoy the game, play the game or... B ) If you don't enjoy the game, don't play the game.

Then you're an addict and you need fucking help.

A. You are bored, league is free and easy to go to when nothing else is interesting B. You have invested a lot of time and money into it, hard to pull away from investments C. People you know play it, and its a common ground to hang out even if everyone hates it too D. You actually love everything about the game, other than 1 or 2 things, which if they were gone you wouldnt feel this way. You keep playing hoping one day they will be gone. E. You feel like not playing will result in you being left behind in some manner. Missing an event, or not getting a rank, so on. You feel compelled to log in so you dont miss out on that sweet "free anv annie skin" or the "free legendary skin" , and if you did you would regret it.

It can be one, different combinations, or all of them.... or maybe none. Chances are, its at least one. For me, nothing else has grabbed my attention yet.

I don't uninstall it because why bother? hard drives are cheap so uninstalling games is just a waste of time

I did. I started playing better games. Started with Doom 2016 then moved to Undertale, and recently completed Dark Souls. I come here to check for potential improvements which may motivate me to play League but I doubt that's ever going to happen.

Thinking about uninstalling, and doing it is easy but that won't really solve any problems. You first have to acknowledge why you are playing this trash in the first place, there can be many reasons, ranging from investments in time and money to borderline addiction, which many of us on the boards are currently facing. In my opinion, you simply have to find something else to do instead of playing league.Such as going out with friends, hitting the gym to pump iron, watching a movie or playing other games. There are many great games such as Witcher 3, Mk11,GTA V and the list goes on.

Well I unstalled and didn't play LOL for about 2 weeks now and put 1000s of games every season, I just had of everything in the game.

I would suggest playing other games going out watching movies anything will help especially that league takes a lot of your time

its because that when you invest money into something you kinda get attached to it.

It's addiction, this season has been a blessing, it's so bad that I haven't played in the last few days and don't even want to. If the game keeps going like this I probably won't come back and won't even have to address my own addiction issues and it will just go away for me. Which i'll take those tbh

Taking breaks from league is normal. It's only natural you wouldn't want to play the same game all year long, especially one with so many ups and downs.

Primary answers to majority of people are the addiction and a vast feeling of void and emptyness without playing League, because people usually feel unmotivated to play other games, or do anything else other than playing League in general. It doesn't matter if you uninstall it, you'll come back... eventually.

If you really want to stop playing League, then seek actual medical help from doctors to cure your addiction permanently.

I would say the bigger reason why I come back is to play RGMs or my skins.

I don't care for ranked anymore. I've sort of grown out of 'raging at my teammates' and thinking it's okay to play the game and get good, 'just ignore the flamers' it's too taxing to deal with the copious amounts of bullshit players will say in chat, let along the workarounds on how to get away with racism and hate in their summoner names and club tags.

I still have a lot of friends that play this game regularly but it's more of, every 3 or 6 months, we go on a LoL bender. But afterwards we don't really care much for the game and find something else to do.

Plus my lifes been pretty busy, I have a job now and frankly I enjoy playing board games and dipping some of my money into old hobbies I've had growing up. So my money has been going into pieces of cardboard in the form of table top games and trading cards but I'm about satisfied with those too. It'll just be URF for now until I Riot releases another game mode like NB, TT, or Dom.

This is gonna sound rude, but I'm a Support main, an Enchanter main at that, so I'll give it to you straight.

Get thicker skin.

I'm so used to teammates blaming their mistakes on me. I never get recognition for the plays I make unless they are seriously next level. Meanwhile, the Katarina on my team will get a triple kill after feeding because they rolled their face on their keyboard late game, which is like Katarina's thing, and my team will be like, "KATARINA GOD!! HONOR THIS PLAYER!!!!" acting like we don't see that all the time with Katarina.

Supports in general have been consistently behind in levels and gold, so what you're going through as Jungler right now is something I sympathize with. Other roles do not care that you're behind. They do not care that you're thinking long term and not just in the moment. You just have to learn to accept that.

If I got upset with every time an Ashe who walks into hooks and cannot freeze the wave properly said, "My supp is trash," or "My supp is trolling," I'd have uninstalled a long, long, long time ago.

If you know you're playing well and making the right calls for you, then don't second guess yourself. You'll get to where you want to go. For me, that's simply ranked rewards because normals is so much more interesting than the strict meta bot lane in ranked.

The people that aren't noticing that the jungle role has changed are the ones that are bad and need to brush up on the patch notes.

I think im about to hang up this game forever. I try and climb in rank (im about a gold1 level, not that high but I kinda get stuck there im a 6kda mid laner but its just not enough) I was gold 1 I think last season go dropped back to bronze 1 after season reaset now im silver2 and trying to climb out.

I play above normal skills and the games I do win high percentage I carry. Problem is AFKers, feeders, abusers (which I mute as soon as they type). I dont type back anymore because If you type they report you. Its the classic you talked back to me so im going to report you, classic mindset. Anyway, in this game there is no point trying to reason with anyone. This game forces people who have valuable input to be silenced when explaining stuff. I have learnt if you type you get reported. Its pathetic and a terrible system. There is no context when reporting is being reviewed. Ive learnt that there are too many people out there to ruin games for you that you try in. It is not fun anymore your always biting your toung from people who abuse, and you cant communicate back because damn if you do you get grouped up on by others and your reported not the instigator.

I have had 2 accounts banned over the span of about 10 years. The first one I had about $500 worth of skins a PAX TF, PAX JAX, black Alister and other stuff. This one was my fault and I accepted it. The second account however was not acceptable ban. I was abused constantly and I justified my comments when I responded only to be reported. I think it triggers if you get reported 3 games in a row but not too sure. Anyhow after the first account I do not put anymore money into this game. I find it a sense of stealing if you get perma banned for typing text.

Now I just mute if someone types. This hinders communication and cohesion but im over this reporting system it ruins the whole game. It is also impossible to get honor when no one honors you. Especially when you carry and get no honors. My question here is, Does anyone actually go up in honor ranks? because I been stuck at 2 and If I get reported I can only see myself going down and not up again because of the poor community attitude.

I try to play the best. But the games too snowbally, a zed with firstblood usually snowballs hard or a fizz or ekko etc. I main Malzahar and his pretty much the same.

While writing this just had a trundle on my team toplane says his going to feed. Feeds and loses game, nothign we can do, lost 20LP this is what I mean.
