Pajama Party Skins: It's our own fault

It's so obvious that these skins are just another cash grab from Riot. I mean they're just the base skins with some overlays & the same affects & weapon models. They don't have borders that you could've gotten with the originals but yet cost more without the borders!

The thing that bothers me most though is the fact that Riot has to know how much of a rip off this is & yet does it anyway. They don't care if ripping us off gives them a bad name as a company because they still make money. For every 10 people that complain about the prices for a high price/low quality skin 1 will buy it. Sure, more people would buy a High Quality Skin that takes time & effort to make at a reasonable. But why do that when you can just make a bunch of Crappy Skins that take almost no time & effort & sell them for a ridiculous price!

Sadly enough I have to say I'm one of those people that buy high price/low quality skins. Riot sells way more about casual players like me that only play blind, because one of the main reasons I play the game is to collect skins. Ranked players may play more & take the game more serious but they don't buy as many skins as I do because they play a lot less champs.

It's not a rip off, it's just a skin. It's even heavily discounted if you already own the standard version. If you like it then buy it, if you aren't interested then don't. Since they are so similar to the original skins then they are clearly the same value as those originals so if you don't own the originals and choose to buy the pajama version then that's the same cost as buying the original one.

The point is guys this is a recycled skin. A 1350 rp skin that was recycle with a couple of changes & sold for the same price. They put in a whole lot less work to make a skin that cost the same.

It's like they refurbished used goods & sold them as brand new.

I think the idea of alternative skin for the existing skin line is pretty neat.

The way I see it, they are intended to be an alternative purchase for the original skins - if you like the particles/sounds of these skins, you chose which version you pick up.

Also, it somewhat involves the community, these skins were roughly based on fan creations about the Star Guardian universe.

On the other end, there are people like me, who just like some champions a lot and buy both versions. I hardly even play Soraka these days, but I think she looks precious and must be protected and I needed that skin.

I'm glad to have a new Miss Fortune skin, especially with the discount for already having the Star Guardian skin. It seemed like a fair price to me.
