Lunar Revel in Germany was announced to be extended, yet the shop content was removed BEFORE. Sad.

I am super sad and angry right now.

#1 A player community representative in the forums claimed the shop items will be extended for the same time of the missions! Afterwards he just deleted his post like it never has happened, but enough players have put trust in this false news, which appearently came from an official representative!

#2 Making news with headlines like these in the launcher is what i call "false advertising" (Translated in german this means: The lunar revel event 2018 will end at 22.02.2018")

If you read that... Would you think, that half the content is just beeing taken away before the end thats been announced? NO, as a player you wouldnt think of that happening. Especially when you read this news of the event going on, the missions still beeing there with their timers, and the launcher beeing in the festive design.

You expect the shop content to be there aswell. I wanted to buy the warwick content pakage and didnt do it, because you gave me the feeling i still had enough time to do so. In the end i couldnt receive it because you removed the whole shop content, before the acutal end of extended lunar revel. Thats dissapointing, destroying trust in what you say and angering aswell.

#3 The event didnt work according to plan, in addition to that beeing said, all the fuss and false infos spread around in the community and caused by your own media guys @ riot caused a lot of missleading information.

#4 In the end all of that trouble was caused by problems and a bad flow of information, which can happen BUT when it happens then keep one thing in your mind: Who has to suffer under it? The player.

Thanks! I am super sad right now, since even though i contacted the support about that matter, and even though you @ riot know that theres been some missunderstandings, you dont make a move towards us / me as a player. No, you just shut me down and arent bothered at all it seems. All i got from the support was "cant help you, cant credit you the stuff you want, go to the boards and give it a shot".

Here i am Shouting out to the devs. Asking for crediting me the XXL lunar revel warwick package, and taking my RP for it.

As a long time league player, thats just demotivating and angering a lot.

You dissapointed me. Big time. All i wanted is my warwick skin pakage including all chromas and the icon+border. And that seems to be asked too much, even though i just put faith and trust into your news. Awesome.

I dont get why you fell for it... TBH, always check the NA boards for a big snnouncement. If its not on NA boards, check Riot website. You cant believe everything you see on the boards

Did you just see the screenshot i added in my text above? It clearly reads "lunar revel ends 22.february 8:59 cet" (in german)

This screenshot was taken IN MY LAUNCHER! - the offical client launcher.

That and all the other infos in addition. (Remember, i am talking about EUW, not NA)

Hello!

Yea, I'm 100% with you on this one. The Lunar Revel event was a really big mess and the information was really misleading and caused me to waste quite a bit of money.

So! Here's how it all went down for me. So, I go to the Lunar Revel page and see that it ends on 22 of February. so I decided that because I was busy with school stuff. I would do the Missions on 21 of February and also buy the Nasus bundle I really wanted.

BUT! today turned out that because I didn't complete the first quest before 20th of February I couldn't do the missions at all. Which, I'll admit was a really big bummer, But I was still happy because I could get the skin I had been wanting to buy so naturally I went to buy the Nasus bundle BUT, I couldn't find it!

at this point I was really confused if I had seen the date wrong so I went to check the original post, nope! So I decided to contact player support because at this point I assumed that the lack of missions and the incapability to buy skins was just some weird bug on my end. But nope!

So I'm left here, on the last day of an event that's STILL ACTIVE mind you, and incapable to buy the skins or do the missions and I gotta admit I'm pretty pissed that they didn't specify either so I feel like Riot should have specified these things in the post because now during the event I'm barred from doing the event.....

TLDR: I wanted to do the event 21 of February while the event was still active mind you and I couldn't do the missions or get the skins. And A player community representative in the forums claimed the shop items will be extended for the same time of the missions! But he deleted the post later. But still I'm pissed that because I trusted a Riot Community representative I missed the entire thing!
