Where do these skins come from

My Brother jernoe19 has received 4 or more skins but he has no idea where from. Dragonslayer Braum, snow day syndra, el rayo volibear, and executioner mundo.

They came at different times. He insists there was never any gift notifications (is there a way to check past received gifts?). Wondering if this has happened to anyone else
