17-19 lp per win, 53% winrate, gold 5 mmr...and i'm silver 2 rn...

So the thing is I was losing a lot, and got to silver 5 from silver 2, and my mmr dropped to bronze 1. But then i started playing amumu and zac, strong picks if you ask me idk...so the thing is my mmr is now gold 5 i'm still silver 2 and climbing, i would climb faster maybe with more than 17/18 lp per win. My question is, why am i only getting only 17 to 19 max lp per win with that winrate and that mmr?
