Can you get banned or penalized for playing in 3rd person mode in a custom game with friends?

I just saw the video of UberDanger playing in 3rd person mode (video is linked) and I was wondering if you can get banned or penalized for playing in 3rd person mode in a custom game with friends who also want to play in 3rd person mode? I am unsure if it is allowed but I have seen a few other posts online but I have found none referring to all participants in a game agreeing to play under the same conditions of 3rd person mode.

Was just wondering because me and my friends want to try it for fun but if there are gonna be consequences placed on our accounts then its not really worth it :P
