Meddler said that they are only in the game because of the files being moved around currently. All of the items are still being removed.
thoughts? not removing the item is my thoughts. one of the only unique items in the game.

Glad they're thinking of keeping zz'rot and raptor's cloak, they're some of the more unique items in the game. I kinda wish there were more items that built out of raptors cloak.

Its only a PBE bug, spear is back too. Dont get too excited, that item doesnt even need to exist

Ohmwrecker I kinda get since that thing is a dumpsterfire that you really can't make into a useful build even if the active is ok, but that one they've literally never buffed. They made tweaks to it in the first year or so after its release but the item has basically been forgotten about. Its what they're doing with Treeline on a smaller scale.
Zz'Rot on the other hand broke the game balance in combination with Banner of Command. Banner got deleted from the game and Zz'Rot got to stay after going through nerfs and tweaks. Zz'Rot is still actually used on some splitpush tanks when ahead but its still overall a niche item but Riot has never wanted to let the item be viable again. I guess having waves of bugs + the banner of command baron cannon minion being a free win gave Riot PTSD that prevents them from ever trying to make Zz'Rot a balanced item since they're scared of ruining their precious pro play.
