So yesterday I encountered a player who just happened to ban my main (Katarina) so I told them in all chat...TRYING to start a nice conversation maybe but the guy who banned her was like "aww poor bby you don't get to faceroll and get a penta" can someone elaborate on how you get a penta by facerolling on kat I would just like to know.
Not against Kat directly, but manaless champs shouldn't be a thing....

She's not faceroll like she used to be, but because of her resets, she's by far the easiest champion in the game to get pentakills on. I actually got one a few hours ago, but it didn't really feel special or anything, it's just a thing that happens every now and then.
I find the majority of people who complain about her don't know how to play against her. Like I've seen people complain about her lvl 2 or 3 all ins which is just absurd from my perspective. At those levels, shunpo's cd is a full 2 seconds when picking up a dagger which is a lot of time to be punished in lane by the enemy's ranged autos and their minions if they positioned correctly.
These are the people that don't seem to realize that Kat cannot guarantee her dagger pickup damage on someone without a gunblade active, and if they dodge them, they auto win all trades. Once she does get that gunblade, most mages should generally have the tools to waveclear efficiently and safely.

Well, you see, they're beaten by Katarina a few times and that's clearly not supposed to happen. Since they are so much better than the guys who beat them, the only way that could happen is that is they're champion is easier, so much easier that they don't need to do anything to win, and they are probably OP too. And then he takes a look around and, oh, you see she doesn't have mana, look at how easy that makes her, she doesn't even have mana! (No, it doesn't matter that champion and game design has been steadily decreasing the burden of mana and how it's not a problem on most champions in the first place). And if not, they probably use one of the five buttons for controlling the character like right-clicking or something and that makes them stupidly easy.
Kat is no longer faceroll, but she is very much a pseudo-mechanical champion. I don't think I've ever done poorly with her other than against shit like Malzahar. She's my autofilled mid go-to
