NO XP GAINED FOR PLAYING MATCHES?

So ive been playing some games today, while a couple friends and I noticed, that after each game we played, We were gaining NO XP for playing each match.

I have played about 5 games today, and after each game it says "+0 XP gained" I look in the top right corner of the client, and It appears as if I've gained no xp, I go to my profile, and STILL no xp gained. Then all of the sudden, I level up after a game, to level 99, but Once I look at my profile page again, It still says Im level 98. I am confused riot. Is this just a bug on my part, or are others experiencing this too?
