About the New Snowdown Skins...

I don't know what it is about these BRAND NEW SKINS™ but I feel like they're..... lacking.

Now, don't get me wrong. It's been a super fun year where they have been making a TON of new skins for us, continuing existing lines. For instance, we've had additions to the Dark Star and Cosmic skin lines, as well as Star Guardians, Battle Boss, Warring Kingdoms, Super Galaxy, Project, Mechas, and Blood Moon. We've seen Omega Squad officially become a line of skins, updates to the Pentakill skins (and a badass new singer), as well as a fantastic new approach to the E-Sports skins ♥. The Rioters have done such a fantastic job on the skins this year, and I was always excited to see what would come out next!

Until, (in MY PERSONAL OPINION), this holiday season. Seeing these new skins come out didn't make my heart race in excitement and my wallet cry in despair like the others this year. I was especially hyped for Snowdown after the lovely ones from last year, but I'm pretty disappointed. The skins are of similar, if not better quality as the others in 2017, but they don't feel right to me.

After some consideration, I finally decided to say that it's the little things adding up to make me unsatisfied. First of all, we only have Christmas themed skins - no Snowday (one of my personal favorites), Winter Wonderland, or other quirky skins like Re-gifted Amumu or Nutcrako. Second, I feel like the skins don't fit the characters (other than Elf Jinx). I believe that Volibear or Warwick would make an awesome reindeer, or even someone like Ornn ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). My final thought is that these skins can't really compete with the fan-FLIPPING-TASTIC Project skins! I feel like there was a ton of love and time invested into those skins, and then having these radically different skins being released so soon after the big event removes some of excitement that I would have otherwise had.
