I Got Banned From The Discord For Reporting A Known Troll

This is a warning for anyone who goes into the Discord.

There are certain people that you will be banned for reporting. I was harassed multiple times by this person and when I reported them I was banned.

This was not the only incident. There have been many others, and there have also been lots of other people who have had problems with him.

Some people get special privileges in the Discord for some unknown reason.

You were in no way banned for reporting any given individual, and we looked into all participants involved based on their past behavior and their behavior in that specific instance.

It's not appropriate for me to discuss the decision was reached regarding individuals who have not brought themselves into the discussion, but you were banned for having a history of confrontational behavior combined with a statement that involved suggesting that the other party involved would defend sexual assault against young children. That's completely unacceptable.

I've been watching the situation with Boards and stuff from the outside for a long time now. I have seen a lot of really, really bad stuff happen. There is stuff that clearly is not right, and Ive been quiet about it for a very long time.

I am friends with BoggyBuntu, Totally not Jinx, EarthyMadness, final spark lux, Riot 202, Riot KateyKhaos, and a few others. I am a game developer living in Ohio. As a disclaimer, I do not hate any moderators specifically. This is not meant as a insult to any of them, especially those 3. They are great additions to my friend circle and I love them all to death, but as a fallout of the drama surrounding an ambassador and other Boards volunteers is the main reason for my attempted suicide on September 8th. People have been harassing me on Discord for nearly a months, telling me to kill myself, that my ex girlfriends suicide should be an example, and that every friend would eventually turn on me. I know who is responsible, as it has lined up perfectly to one person every time and a few accomplices...

The Boards moderators are clearly being dishonest about something. Its clear that theres a lot of drama. Just off the top of my head, one moderator was kicked from the team because they wanted followups on chickenwraps accused involvement and the continueing (to this day) harassment tied to a group he is involved with. The reason for kicking was changed multiple times, and the only defense they were given was that "if you want back into the program, we cant say what you did wrong because that would invalidate any evidence." They were drastically hurt by this.

Ive never really spoken up about it, but I also see complaint sof 20 hour wait times on that discord, and hear horror stories of the ways a few select moderators spoil the bunch. I just checked, and its against the rules to say this, but I am hereby calling it out:

Evangele, Chickenwrap and RawStanky: You are the ones doing the harassment on Discord. We all know. Every moderator I've talked to about this knows.

Yeah, moderators here have shown themselves to objectively be worse than 3rd party moderation.

At least the 3rd party guys were understandably incompetent.

Not to say anything but the moderators of the boards and discord tent to abuse power. Not all of them but yeah it's a thing so I am sure people out there know your pain. A while ago there was this one guy who in detail showed and described many cases of power abuse by moderators.

Sadly I always looked up to Keyru as one of the decent people of the boards. Guess I was wrong.

Have you tried going to the Boards discord and pinging a mod in the #boards-report-room channel?

That usually works for me.
