Jungle Items and Adaptive Bonuses?
Was messing around in practice tool with jungle Mordekaiser, and was thinking about how I wanted AD from my adaptive bonuses, rather than AP (Mordekaiser's default).
On your first jungle clear, since you buy either
or
, you can't influence your adaptive bonus, I was wondering about ways you could work it out. My first thought was to make machete and talisman count as AD/AP items respectively. Looking at the champion pools as a whole, there would not be much to consider about hunter's machete, since if you want on-hit physical damage for your first clear, you want AD, after which when you have a bit more freedom with your gold, you could buy other items to influence your adaptive bonus as normal. Hunter's Talisman would have all the nitty gritty to it. Perhaps the best way to do it would be giving each champion a "talisman preference" for adaptive bonuses, rather than attaching it to the item itself? Aside from mages and most tanks who currently have AP from adaptive bonuses by default, there is the big group of champions like Draven, Kled, Riven, and Zed with absolutely no ap scalings at all in their kits where no one would cry if they lost the ability to gain Ability Power by means of adaptive bonuses being exclusively AD on them.
OK, I just going to stop myself here as there is a much simpler and straightforward way of saying what I am trying to say. I am am going to leave the previous paragraph because It would feel bad to delete it. Feel free to leave a review on where you liked reading it or not.
Methink
should be an AD-Type adaptive item. Touching
would be unnecessary (if like me, I confused you).
