Basic 3v3 is full of account selling bots, as some one who mained twisted treeline back in season 2. I wish you the best of luck
As someone who has played thousands of games of 3v3 and has held plat in the mode for a few seasons (going back to when you had to have a full team to even play ranked), I can say from experience that aside from meta shifts that changeup the champs and compositions 3v3 is more or less a solved game mode in terms of macro - and its very unforgiving with its snowballing.
To put it in chess terms, many mid game and and game positions for 3v3 are solved from a strategy endpoint. If the gold advantage tips just slightly too far in one direction then odds are likely that a deathspiral will begin which will inevitably break the enemy teams base and close out the game. It's of course possible to 'throw', but the fact is that unlike in SR where only a few key picks or objectives fights gone bad might count as a throw, in 3v3 its more like if you get a slight lead and don't immediately use it to decisively end the game in a way that requires minimal interaction then you are throwing.
Taking this into account, as well as the fact that 3v3 is a mode that requires unanimous surrender voting, its not surprising that players who can see the writing on the wall but whose teamates refuse to surrender get frustrated and sometimes leave the game. If the chance for victory drops to 5% and would require an hour long match where the enemy team makes a long series of massive mistakes in order for you to have any hope, then most people probably would rather surrender and player two more matches in the time it would take to finish this one.
