I personally loved getting skin shards in my hextech chests. It made striving for excellence worthwhile. Since the new leveling system and all the changes all I have gotten is champion shards. I feel i have been horribly let down by Riot. I have all the champions, so getting champion shards in my hextech chests is a grave disappointment. I feel Riot should remove champion shards from Hextech chests. Lemme know what you think. GLHF.
shouldnt be removed but the rate at which you are pulling champion shards should be decreased.
The problem my wife and I have run into is a bit different but along the same lines...
It has been a while (2-3 weeks?) since hextech chests have had anything other than emotes. While there are a few emotes that are kind of cool, most just are not going to be used ever. And the unusable ones cant be "disenchanted" into orange essence. I bought the ones I wanted and my wife doesnt even want emotes at all.
We get all the champ shards we need from level-up capsules. And emotes beyond the "thumbs up" should be either special missions or paid for... PLEASE, we want (more/only) skin shards in hextech chests.
