Simple as this. Can you guys even imagine if more rioters did what Bazerka is doing on the boards recently? As far as I can tell he’s not even part of the main team of balancers or design but just seeing SOMEONE from Riot talking to the community is such a “feels good” no? Now I know that a lot of rioters are busy but we ALL know that they have been silent on the boards on purpose for a long while. Be that the boards toxicity or other reasons, Bazerka is showing that there are still a lot of people not shitposting and actually trying to create meaningful threads that they want/need feedback on. If you have ever been in a long term relationship of any sorts you’ll know that without communication it turns to shit really easily. Bazerka is like a good morning text that the community woke up to not knowing they even had a lover at all ;)

P.s. if you end up seeing this riot @Bazerka a personal thanks from me. Btw are you getting paid to do this from your higher ups? Makes sense with the way it is happening. You being not a part of the game changes themselves so not being able to get berated as hard as say meddler would be. Not saying you ARE getting paid off and I’m sure you’re a nice guy either way just a afterthought I had;)

Aw thanks man! To answer your question I dont get paid to post. Well, I get paid to work at Riot so indirectly I do? But yea mostly I post cause I grew up on these boards :). I like paying it forward

He enjoys posting here becasue he works in HR department which is not responsible for the current poor state of the game.* Imagine somebody from balance team coming here. They would get so shitted on that they would run to their mums with tears. (rightfully)

  • (well they recruited those guys who "balance this game" but god knows whose plan is it to ruin this game - tencent?)

It does feel good to know that at least one Rioter hasn't abandoned the boards. Yes, this is a godforsaken place with plenty of problems, but we do deserve to be heard at the very least.

Ah yeah, no its not a "feels good" There are huge problems with the game that nobody's working on. IE Griefer detection and the general boards population are either such huge fanboi's or so thirsty to see anyone from riot actually posting on the boards they want to throw a celebration.

There have been "meaningful threads" that want/need responses being posted on this for 4+ years Hundreds on the exact same topics in fact that are just never ever responded too.

A lot of Rioters aren't busy though is the funny part about it. Just look at their social media and they are playing TFT or messing around on aram or whatever it is. They GET busy, but they are not too busy to talk to use, they just don't care anymore. In 2019 Riot is not about transparency and communication anymore and that's just kinda how it is.

The old Riot that talked and joked around and trolled the boards is long gone. Today is where we have the rioters who complain about their players and complain about people being mean to them on social media and so on. Just not the same group of Rioters anymore.
