I hope TFT fails
The little legends price/randomness is scummy... and the mode is boring and slow, in my opinion.

I agree with the first part completely, but disagree with the second part. Despite its flaws, it's still probably one of my favorite games of the year. I imagine it's just not your type of game if you think it's boring and slow.

I dislike it because it wastes time they could be using to fix this broken ass game.
Between the 700 people they have working on Lore/art/story BS, and the 300 on TFT... I'm assuming that only leaves CertainlyT and Ghostcrawler left for balance.
And it shows.
It will. Riot got into the whole Auto Chess hype train a little late, and while they probably sparked it up for a few more months, it'll die out eventually. It's literally the most boring gaming experience I've ever had.
The game would be very fun for me, however the power of the items and random drop rate is just overly frustrating, really kills the experience.
it WILL fail if riot does the typical riot way. ignoring community feedback and doing their own shit.
i still havent managed to play a tft game where i didnt read "wow 1 gold, thank you riot"
You literally just said that you hope it fails because you don't like it. Name a more childish thinking than that lmao.
So you're going to wish the downfall of a mode that OTHER people enjoy because YOU don't enjoy it? Real fair logic ya got there.
Well, its already a success, so.
I do not agree with little legends being in lootbox mode, but they do not give you any advantage and you could get your own little legend for free so I do not see that as a real problem. And I do not see problem with the 40 minute games either. Why should it fail? Because you do not like some aspects of it?
Yeah, it sucks that its a cash grab (for a character that really does nothing lol) but I think the game mode is fun. Once they start adding in more characters and proper balances I think it has potential. Still though, I wish other game modes were allowed to be present. :/
Riot gave all of its attention to it instead of the actual game so yeah I agree with you
I do see his point. The quality of the game has been rapidly declining for a while, and I don't mean balance.
No more animated logins.
No more special modes.
Predtiege skins that everyone hated are now part of every skin batch.
Seems like "events" are now back to back, hiding most content behind tokens. So if you want anything over 300tokens or cant wait a month, you need to pay $15 minimum. And if you need more tokens you need to buy those massive $20-$50 capsule bundles.
Each "event" just adds more skins and less gameplay than the last. The school one had nothing, arcade had resused map/music, project has reused minions.
TT is being removed.
9,14 is arguably the bugfiest the game has EVER been.
Literally everything thats been happening is being done by pure corporate greed. Trying to maximize profits as much as possible while doing as little work as possible.
And this all started happening right around the time of TFT release.
Note: people do not simply "make what they love" when they work for a company. They make what they are told to make or get fired for not doung their job. Tft is the result of marketing researchers whose job it is to see what people want and will spend money on. It then becomes the developers job to make those modes or changes. Just like how the researchers found that they do not make money off custom modes, but instead make tons of cash off these event tickets while only needing to develop small icons and chromas.
Then consider the only thing you can buy in Tft, you need to gamble for. Very clear to see its just the next money making opportunity.
Its easy to see what the game has become and where it's headed, with our wallets. EIng more inportant than our enjoyment. For that reason I too wosh Tft fails just to put a stop to all this greedy BS and hopefully get LoL back to the fun it once was.
The gamble eggs are awful but the length of the game mode is fine they just need to shift some of the time from early rounds into later ones since you actually have things to do then and a couple extra seconds matters.
How long are SR games now like 7 minutes? SR used to go at least 45 most games.
you're literally Hitler. TFT is the best game mode and soon we shall see it replace that garbage SR to sell as many Little Legends skins as possible
Mode was boring af and i only played for a couple of minutes before i nearly fell asleep.
TFT is the bad copy of Dota Underlords. There is still a huge improvement to do to keep it on par. Not a fan of those kind of games anyway.
idk why someone would play tft over proper strategy games like civ or card games
