It doesn't matter how calm I am, how many breaks I take from the game, or any other technique I can use to get out of tilt.

I can go on winstreaks, and then start losing a shit ton of games without the fault of attitude or gameplay.

Can someone explain tilt?

I happen to be very easily tiltable. It's when you let something that happened - nvm what - affect your gameplay in a bad way. For example, you just lost a game and now you REALLY want to win the next one so you can still win your promotion to Plat 5. You tunnel so hard on winning that you take unnecessary risks in trying to get ahead, like go for a solo kill without vision, or towerdive while your jungler is nowhere near your lane. This is the moment, if it works you'll feel great and in control, and you'll probably relax and gain a more laid back view on the game since you're now ahead. If it doesn't work however, that's when tilt happens. You may now feel extremely pressured and continue to do risky things and tunnel REALLY hard on trying to kill your lane, and because you're already behind you start feeling more and more helpless which may make you mad and give you this irritating feeling in your gut of wanting to just unplug the cable and do LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE. However you know that Riot is basically holding your account hostage and you might lose it if you do that, so you start getting angrier and angrier, which leads to even more gameplay mistakes and maybe to flaming your teammates. It's important that you take a step back at any point of this and admit to yourself (maybe even write it out), that you're tilted. When that happens to me I usually default to the mental state of "fuck it, time to perma farm and hug my tower". Knowing when it's your time to GET carried and not to carry it a skill as well, and while on tilt it's definitely not your time to carry.

Don't get triggered over an online video game that means nothing in real life.

Generally, there are 3 types of detection:

a grounded plumb bob centered in an electrified metal ring – when the machine is jostled or shaken too far or too hard, the bob contacts the ring, completing a circuit. The bob is usually cone-shaped allowing the operator to slide it vertically, controlling the sensitivity.

an electrified ball on a slight ramp with a grounded post at the top of the ramp – when the front of the machine is lifted (literally, tilted) too high, the ball rolls to the top of the ramp and completes the circuit.

an impact sensor – usually located on the coin door, the play field and/or the cabinet itself.

You ever had a moment when you've said to yourself "I hate this fucking game" even if you didn't mean it? Its that. That moment when you stop having fun in a match because of that one stupid decision you made that pissed away an otherwise solid lead. Or that one time you died to a champion you already hate. You get pissed, and start playing pissed (read: you start playing stupid) even if you don't notice it. Watch the replays of any game that made you say that when you're calm and if you look at it objectively, I promise you, you will be able to spot the exact moment you said "fuck this game" to yourself and started playing objectively worse than you normally do.
