Ranked tips?

Hello, i just hit lv 30 and i think i might hold off on going into ranked untill the new season. However, I was wondering what tips do you all have to get a better placement in ranked. I know that if I happen to be placed in a lower rank I might not be able to get out of it for whatever reason. So I have a few questions : does the rank you get in game help your placement for example if I play support and get an S rank would that help my placement into rank or does that not matter Following question : what tips would you all have for someone who likes to top lane an support going into ranked.

learn to farm, go check sites like op.gg, champion.gg, and mobalytics for builds and spells, grades per game dont matter all that matters is u win to improve your placement. personal tips for you after looking at your profile is just cs better and really take a look at builds that your champs usually pick and use.
