Playing since season 2 and still cant even pass gold

I've been playing this game since Syndra came out, I even played before that but didnt get into the game at first. I love this game, I truly do. Yet my skill seems to be nonexistant, I never made it past gold....and I always get made fun of. Right now Im struggling to get out of Silver 2 since I constantly get on a losing streak after I reach about 90 LP The people in-game constantly tell me how sad my life must be for never being able to get to platin or diamond despite playing for so long.

At this point it fuels my depression, I start crying behind the screen. Its embarassing for me to say all this being a fullworking 22 year old man just trying to kill as much time as I can, since I dont have any friends, hobbies or skills.

How can I....just not suck? I am kind of outta ideas....and Im progressively getting sadder

Help would be appreciated :)

You don't need to get high rank

I am at the same Spot Friend, I hit 90 Lp in silver 2 Lose By Total blowouts Most of the Next 20ish Games i play, Work my Way back get Demoted Again. Around Silver 2 I start getting Placement Players, New Players, and Just Really bad Comps.

One of the things that helped me get out of silver was to re watch my games with a friend who also plays. They were quick to point out what I was doing wrong.

Coaching helps a lot whether it be through youtube guides or someone directly teaching you. Gold does not require good mechanics to reach you just need to improve your game knowledge. Learn how to create advantages, push those advantages, and not throw them away with avoidable mistakes. If you get that down you can solo carry most silver games.

watch/think about your own gameplay.

even if someone put you into a bad position in the game, always view it as "what can I do to prepare myself for these things".

also, the people making fun of you are probably ass hole smurfs who plague low elo and make the match making very RNG on who gets the most smurfs.

but just when you die or lose a game just think what you could have done.

another good way to have a general play style is to watch a video of someone playing the champ in the lane you play. So if you play middle and love playing syndra, watch a 9.10 syndra KR replay on youtube. Just observe what they do and try to understand it.

I agree with Kitsune. Honestly, it's not important to get high rank as long as you enjoy the game. However, if I had to make a suggestion, I'd say to stick with meta champs and try to have only 1-2 champs that you use during the season. You play so many different characters and at this point, you should be trying to stick with as small a champ pool as possible so you can focus on things other than figuring out how to effectively play your champ every game.

Just imagine playing since Season [first three] and there's still no performance-based matchmaking. The Ranked Lottery is bullshit.
